Coherent Lab Supply · Research reagent kits

Most suppliers test once. We test every kit five ways.

Every 10‑vial kit we ship is checked by Janoshik Analytical for purity, mass, endotoxin, sterility, and heavy metals. The report is matched to the lot number on your box, and you can verify it yourself.

What the report actually checks

Purity is one number. A usable kit needs five.

A single purity percentage tells you what fraction of the powder is the right molecule. It says nothing about how much powder is in the vial, what else came along with it, or whether the vial is clean. That is why we run the full panel on every lot.

01

Purity

How much of the material is the target compound, not fragments or by‑products.

HPLC‑UV · LC‑MS identity

02

Mass

Actual milligrams per vial versus the label. Under‑filled vials are the most common failure in this market.

Quantitative HPLC · CHNS

03

Endotoxin

Bacterial endotoxin (LPS) left behind by manufacturing. Reported in endotoxin units per vial.

LAL assay · EU/vial

04

Sterility

Total aerobic microbial and yeast/mould counts on the finished vial.

TAMC · TYMC

05

Heavy metals

Arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury from raw materials and equipment.

ICP‑MS

×3

Multi‑vial testing. We submit several vials from the same lot, not one hand‑picked vial. Purity and mass have to agree across them before the lot is released, so the report describes the kit you receive, not the best vial we could find.

Why Janoshik

The lab the research community uses as its reference.

  • Built on blind samples. Janoshik’s reputation came from years of forum members sending unlabeled or deliberately mislabeled samples and getting the right answer back. That track record is why “Janoshik‑tested” became shorthand for “actually tested”.
  • Volume nobody else matches. The Prague lab runs multiple HPLC systems, LC‑MS/MS, GC‑MS, and NMR, and processes on the order of 15,000 samples a month in 2026. More samples means better reference data for each compound.
  • Manufacturers accept it. Raw‑material suppliers honor guarantee claims against Janoshik results. Sellers cannot argue with a report their own supplier recognizes.
  • Reports you can verify. Every certificate carries a task number and QR code that resolves on Janoshik’s public portal. Forged or edited certificates have been caught this way.
  • The full panel in one place. Purity, quantity, LAL endotoxin, TAMC/TYMC sterility, and ICP‑MS heavy metals from the same lab on the same lot, so the numbers line up.

ILS and Vanguard hold ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, which certifies the lab’s own procedures. Janoshik and Chromate do not. Accreditation confirms how a lab works; it does not tell you whether the seller sent a representative sample. That is what a blind‑test culture and multi‑vial submissions are for, and it is why we chose Janoshik for every lot.

Check our work before you order.

Every kit carries a lot number. Ask us for the Janoshik task number for that lot, or find it on the product page, and confirm the report on Janoshik’s own site. No login, no PDF from us to take on faith.

  1. Take the lot number from the kit page or your box.
  2. Open Janoshik’s public verification page.
  3. Enter the task number. The report opens on their domain, not ours.
